Terms of Service
Last updated: June 25, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between Lesson ForgeAI ("we", "us", "our") and you ("you" or "user") and govern your access to and use of LessonForge AI (the "Service").
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it; otherwise you must be of legal age in your jurisdiction.
2. The Service
The Service uses artificial intelligence to help teachers generate lesson plans, worksheets, quizzes, answer keys, homework, vocabulary lists and classroom activities, which you can edit, save and download.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and maintain the confidentiality of your credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the Service unlawfully or for fraud, spam or harassment;
- Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
- Probe, scan, scrape, reverse engineer or interfere with the Service or its security;
- Upload malware or attempt to bypass technical limits or rate limits;
- Resell, sublicense or redistribute the Service or generated outputs in bulk to third parties as a competing service.
5. AI content
You are responsible for the prompts you submit, your use of generated outputs, and verifying accuracy before classroom use. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable; the Service is an assistive tool and is not a substitute for professional judgement. You must have the rights to any content you input, and you must not use the Service to generate illegal content, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, malware, deepfakes, or content designed to deceive or harm. We may filter, refuse, remove or restrict outputs and may suspend accounts for repeated or serious violations. If you are a rights holder and believe content infringes your rights, contact us via the contact page.
6. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the Service, including software, documentation and branding. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your subscription plan. As between you and us, you retain rights in lesson content you create using the Service, subject to the rights of underlying AI providers and applicable law.
7. Payments, subscriptions and taxes
Paid plans are sold by our reseller (see Section 8). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Pricing, billing frequency, taxes, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms and our Refund Policy. You can cancel at any time from your account; access continues through the end of the current paid period.
8. Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
9. Service availability
We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, be added or removed.
10. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
11. Warranties & disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, goodwill or revenue. Our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the fees you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g. fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence).
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Lesson ForgeAI is established, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
